I watched Growing Pains when I was little and I loved the theme song. Now that i'm older I looked everywhere for it and I found the one for the show and the LP. I love the long version its so beautiful. Everytime I listen to it I have this huge smile on my face. The best thing about the show was the theme song.

Yeah, I loved it too. IMO, thats what made the show great. I heard that sometime in the late 80s, that song was on the top 20 Billboard Charts, the version with that guy(cant remember name) and Dusty Springfield. IMO, in order to have a great sitcom that people will remember, it is ESSENTIAL to have a nice, catchy theme song. Maybe thats why current sitcoms suck! they have no theme songs!
