Default Proof N@N is NOT showing the syndie cuts

i have a recording of Carla saying "Carla Tortelli is no longer a Red Sox Fan..." From a syndicated ep, and on the N@N ep, there is an extra line, making it just a cut version of the original NBC

syndicated:
Carla Tortelli is no longer a Red Sox Fan!
No really I mean it this time!
Have i said that before?

N@N:
Carla Tortelli is no longer a Red Sox Fan!
No really I mean it this time!
Stop it you guys!
Have i said that before?

Well, they may not be showing the syndie versions but it still sucks. I'd rather have the uncut versions that threw N@N's schedule out of whack than watch the edited versions. I'm not an "All in the Family" fan, so I don't care if that show starts 10 minutes late.

When "Cheers" started on N@N in October, a lot of fans loved Nick at Nite. They were giving us a chance to see the episodes the way they were originally seen. The way they were meant to be seen. Then, all of the sudden, N@N starts airing edited versions. Adding this with showing the same 4 episodes on consecutive nights and skipping years worth of episodes, N@N has given "Cheers" fans a real reason to hate the network.

yeah i does suck N@N is messing them up so much

and more proof: for syndicated eps, commericals came right after the opening theme. for N@N, its like NBC, where the show comes right after it

Actually, on NBC commercials immediately followed the theme.

They followed the following scheme:

Opening teaser/theme

Commercial break

First half

Commercial break

Second half

Commercial break

End credits.

Nick at Nite is also inserting artificial commercial breaks during the second half.

I think everyone would love to see uncut versions of all the
shows on N@N and not just Cheers.

I know, that's why I bought the first season of M*A*S*H on DVD. Some of the best jokes are cut for commercial time. Like in "Bad Neighbor Sam", there's a bit right before Norm and Cliff find that couple sitting on their stools. Carla is telling Rebecca how people paying with credit cards great because if they give her a $5.00 tip on the receipt, she can slip a 1 in back of the 5 and make it $15.00. But that's not in the edited version on N@N.

Yep. And that's why I'm clamoring for all 11 seasons of Cheers to be released on DVD.

That M*A*S*H set is great. My friend has it, and I'm grabbing it when I get paid.

And I'll watch all episodes WITHOUT the laugh track. Any show that wasn't filmed/taped in front of an audience should NOT be heard with a laugh track.

They have cut there shows and I have proof. Remember the one when Coach likes that girl named Nina....In the bathroom they leave out the part when diane reads "For A Good Time Call Diane Chambers, then it has the number and we found out that carla wrote it but she got the number wrong. That was the best part of that episode! and they cut it. Shame Shame...
