I do like Luke and Lorelai but there were times where Luke was a little sickening

I ask this because I do like Luke and Lorelai but there were times where Luke was a little sickening. What I will do is give you a couple of examples.

Do you remember when Dean and Rory broke up the first time when Rory didnt say I Love You back to Dean? What about the scene at Luke's when Luke says that he hates Dean for what he did to Rory AFTER he convinced Lorelai to like him. Do you also remember when Luke wouldnt serve Dean and fought him? I mean if that doesnt say "I Love Lorelai" then what does? I mean that whole thing I just mentioned was because he liked Lorelai and was afraid to say something. It was a little sickening because his "hatred" for Dean was because Lorelai hated him.

Do you remember when Lorelai/Luke and Rory/Dean went on a double date? Luke acted rudely all night to Dean. He kept telling Lorelai about how Dean bailed on his marriage very fast and didnt know what he wanted etc. This from the guy who GOT A QUICKY MARRIAGE AND QUICKY DIVORCE!! Also, didnt know what he wanted? Thats why he pined for Lorelai for 9 yrs.!!

And one more thing, what about when Rory dropped out of Yale? I just watched Luke ramble on and on about how Rory would go back to Yale, and he would take morning classes and Lorelai would take evening classes etc.

I mean I like Luke but sometimes when it came to Lorelai, he had stars in his eyes.
