TV When did you FIRST see "Dennis The Menace"?

Was it: A)On the network run? or B)In syndication, when Screen Gems/Columbia Pictures TV began syndicating it in the mid 1960's? For me,it was in the mid 1960's,when a local station in Omaha,Nebraska sired it,amd then in the late 1970's.when another local station in my home town of Lincoln ,Nebraska aired it on Sunday mornings, and then in the 1980's,when another local station in Omaha aired it.How about the rest of you?"

I first saw Dennis the Menace in the 80s on Nickelodeon and quickly became hooked on it. It's sad that they stopped showing shows like this on their station.

I'm in my mid 20s and the first I actually remember seeing it was on TV Land when they ran it on weekends in 2002 or so. I may have saw it on Nickelodeon when I was younger, but don't remember.

Same with me -- I first saw it in the mid-60s when it was in syndication. It used to air at noon on a local St. Louis station (I was around during the show's original run, but was quite young ).

Saw it when it was part of the Nickelodeon lineup too -- those were the days -- they also ran other great shows such as The Donna Reed Show, Mr. Ed, etc.

I'm not sure of the very first time that I watched it, probably as a boy in Upstate NY. I do remember seeing it regularly Sunday mornings at 7 AM on WSM-TV in Nashville, after my family moved to Middle TN. I'd follow DtM with Jeff's Collie (Lassie reruns from 1954-57, also on WSM) then change the channel to WNGE-TV at 8, where I could see 1/2 hour of The Little Rascals (2 shorts) then an hour (3 shorts) of The Three Stooges. After that I could watch most of ABC's Kids Are People Too on WNGE starting at 9:30 until it was time to get ready for church at 11.

Our city was wired for cable in '76 and one of the Chicago stations carried it. The fact that I can no longer remember which probably speaks for itself.

I first saw "Dennis the Menace" in the mid 80s on Nick at Nite. It was one of the first programs I remember seeing after we got cable. Dennis was apart of a block called Camp Nickelodeon. They would play a bugle in the promo before it started.

I forgot how much fun this show was until I started watching the first season on Netflix. I'm going to have to get the DVDs now.

Oh God, definitely in syndication and I believe it was on one of our local channels. I don't remember it being on Nick at Nite.

I don't ever remember seing DTM in syndication during the 1970's so for me it would be during the 1980's on Nickelodeon.

Same with me. I remember Dennis The Menace use to air week days afternoon back to back with Lassie on Nick. Yeah it use to air after school. I would get off the school bus and go running unto the house and put the TV on to watch Dennis The Menace and Lassie. My mom use to sit down and watch both shows with me. Always had a blast watching both shows.

I first saw Dennis the Menace in syndicated reruns in the mid '70s on a local station. By the way, I suppose folks here realize that Dennis the Menace is currently being carried on Antenna TV?
