Madderest Toddler's Curse Word on 'Modern Family' Draws Ire

F-bombs away!

ABC’s Modern Family is releasing its f-word payload tonight despite attempts by a some protestors to halt the episode from airing. As EW.com previously reported, two-year-old Lily will horrify her parents by learning the word “f–k” on tonight’s episode “Little Bo Bleep.”

Since news of the episode broke, the always trusty Parents Television Council and a student organization nobody has ever heard of until now called the No Cussing Club have lined up against the hit series, outraged the Emmy-winning program would portray a foul-mouthed toddler.

“Our main goal is to stop this from happening,” said No Cussing Club founder McKay Hatch. “If we don’t, at least ABC knows that people all over the world don’t want to have a 2-year-old saying the ‘F-bomb’ on TV.”

Big whoop! She never actually said it, nor was it ever heard. It was bleeped, and a censor strip was put over her mouth for humor. The PTC can suck it! Bunch of lonely, bored housewives in Middle America with nothing better to do with their time...

The Parent's Television Councel is an aboluete joke, consisting of about 30 pathetic wannabe activists who are more concerned with writing nonsense letters than they are of their own lives. That's why over half of them (if you can even bother to split their pathetic numbers in half) are in the middle of affairs and much-needed divorce proceedings.

I'm not a big fan of Modern Family but I kind of appreciated this somewhat ballsy move for what's usually a pretty safe sitcom.

Also children cursing is always funny so the PTC can suck it.

Also is there really a thing called the No Cussing Club? Because that sounds like something The Simpsons would come up with. Or perhaps something a 9 year old would come up with after he heard his brother swear for the first time.

There was an ep of Good Luck Charlie where Charlie (the two year old) learned a bad word. They never said the word of course, but it was hilarious the way the ep was written. The next door neighbor asked the dad what Charlie said and when the dad whispered it to her, she slapped him!

Because they're a whiny organization designated to censoring everyone to death and creating a television environment that about 0.3% of the population would enjoy?

It's interesting to note that people bitch about children watching too much television and yet those same types wish to make every second of television suitable for children. Moronic.

Agreed and it's not like this is the first time it's ever happened. I seem to recall a Full House episode where Stephanie almost cusses and Uncle Jessie covers her mouth before she can say the word. This episode of Modern Family is very true to life as I am sure this type of situation has happened to many parents. LOL!

So true. Apparently, they haven't heard of parental controls either.

The PTC is the biggest joke in the world. The episode was beyond hilarious and crossed no lines. This group needs to get a life and solve real world problems.

I personally do not believe in censorship, the PTC is meant to be good in theory, but ultimately they are not doing a bit of good.

Oh No

I don't watch "Modern Family", but the PTC is probably formed by Soccer Moms.
