TV When did you FIRST watch "Gilligan's Island"?

Was it A)On the network run from 1964-1967 or B)When it was syndicated in the late 1960's-early 1970's? For the record,I am in my 50's,and saw it first A)On the network run(the black and white first season in my opinion was the best.I then lost interest and never got into the series from second season on when it was in color). How about the rest of you?

It was 1967. I was 5 then. I have loved it ever since.

I live in England, so I didn't grow up with GI. I first saw it when I bought every season on DVD last year. I'm making up for lost time, though!

I can't tell you exactly when, but I watched it every day after school on WGN in Chicago at 3:30 or 4:00.

Same with me. It was like "Lost In Space" . Great the first season, then they seemed to run out of good scripts, and it got too goofy IMO.

I'm 29. It was definitely in syndication. I remember it coming on after school in kindgergarten and first grade. That was the late 1980s.
