Talking I Love Kirstie Alley...

I just felt like saying it; she's the best actress on the planet!

Thumbs up

She is a nice person, and actress. But I have to agree with the previous post, that Shelley is, in my opinion, a better actress. But Kirstie was fun to watch, too.

I like Kirstie Alley too, that's why I like Rebecca better. I like Shelley Long also, but didn't care for Diane.

Shes a good actress, but in all her characters she seems to whine a lot. Does anyone agree? Personally sometimes I liked the writing when rebecca was on a lot.....It did go down but not that much.

I gree with ya there as well. Well I do think that the writing went down quite a bit, Cheers was AND CONTINUED TO BE AN EXTREMELY FUNNY SHOW AS WELL AS CLEVER. I actually even think that Cheers was a lot funnier when Rebecca/Kirstie Alley was on it, I think part it was the characters who changed so much when Rebecca came on suddenly, well maybe not a first. I really enjoyed watching Kirstie Alley and Rebecca. I thought they had come up with another good character, but I guess it is just what happened to her and how she and the other characters changed, especially Sam. He went from being funny, witty and somewhat deep charming, and a few other things to being a kind of vague and charmless, dumb, etc. I know I'm getting off topic here, but I had pointed out why I didn,t like the Rebecca years as much but I still liked the Rebecca years. It was a lot on how they changed the characters from their old selves all of a sudden; but I have noticed that all of Kirstie Alley characters have been the same. She always plays whiny, annoying and dittsy people.

Gee...I wouldn't call Saavik a "whiny,annoying,ditzy person"!
How fast they forget that Kirstie Alley created the role of
Lt.Saavik in The Wrath Of Khan before creating the role of
Rebecca in Cheers!

Talking

Well, in "Veronica's Closet," the whining made the show funnier. Yes, I guess she whines a bit, but it doesn't bother me at all because I love her forever! She is a great great great great great actress!
