Default The whole Erin Moran controversy

Someone brought this up in the Reunion Movie post, but since it's a seperate topic I started a new thread. I remember hearing something once about Erin Moran's conflict with the rest of the cast. I guess she said one of the cast members had tried to molest her. Needless to say, this was kind of shocking, imaginaing that any one of those people could be capable of something like that. I know, I know...the actor's are completely different from the characters and we don't actually know the actors but to think that kind of stuff was going on behind the scenes... I also heard that she had been brainwashed by some kind of cult and that she later admitted that nothing ever happened to her on the set. Does anyone know the real story, or even bits and pieces?

It was a family member or a relative, it was not somebody on the cast. I don't know where that rumor got started. She was having marital and personal problems in the early 90's.

She said not too long in an interview that I read some where that she'd had a crush on Henry Winkler, so if something DID happen she couldn't have been too tramatized by it.

I remember watching a special called Truth Behind The Sitcom Scandal. There was a story on Happy Days. It was talking about some of the strange things that Erin has said. Erin had refused to appear in a Happy Days reunion special in 1993. She said that the rest of the cast was evil. Then they said that she once was quoted as saying that the government has a conspiracy to get America hooked on crack and methamphetamine. Other cast members of Happy Days seemed to think that Erins husband at that time was having a bad influence on her.

Default Erin

The problem that Erin had was with a family member. She was on an old Howard Stern Channel 9 show and admitted that (I still have it on tape). She later admitted that she was having marital problems is why she didn't appear in the first reunion.
Erin, You are the bomb. Loved watching you on the show.

Thanks for clearing that up TJ! I didn't think that ANYONE on the cast of "Happy Days" would've done those things to her.

all I know about erin Moran is what I've read in rag sheets like The National Enquirer.....I heard she was bitter and thought the rest of the cast was evil and gonna burn in hell.My friend told me the Howard Stern story about Fonzie makin moves on her....I find that hard to believe.I know she was involved with Scott Baio while the show ran. That mustve been a devestating blow when it ended. I saw her on Weakest Link the other day...she still seems a little screwy to me.

Isn't the National Enquirer a tabloid paper? If it is, I doubt that any of the stories in there are real about Erin being bitter and all. Don't believe everything you read.
