Are Restaurants and Bars Benefitting?

This is the second year that Most of the New Year's Day Bowl Games and BCS Games are available only on Pay-TV. Thos of us without Pay T^V can either do without or watch the game somewhere that has access to Pay TV.

For the Sugar Bowl and the BCS Championship I went to a Family Sports Pub and watched the games there, Supper and a Drink set me back a Wallet-Busting $18.00 (With Tip) Which was considerably CHEAPER than watching it at home on Pay-TV (I saved myself over $100.00 by watching the Games this way).

I read somewhere that viewership for the Bowl Games were down 11% last year because of the switch to Pay-TV. I cannot help but wonder, Have Restaurants and Bars seen an INCREASE in business due to people like me who want to see the Game but do not want to pay the Monthly Subscription Fee, and find it cheaper to watch the game from the Restaurant or Bar's Monitor, and just pay a tab for Food and/or Drink?
