Miranda Lambert To Guest on "SVU" in her First Acting Role
Exclusive: Miranda Lambert to Make Acting Debut on "Law & Order: SVU"
Jan 7, 2012 by Adam Bryant Country music spitfire Miranda Lambert will make her acting debut on an upcoming episode of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Lambert, who is married to Blake Shelton, a coach on NBC's hit singing competition "The Voice", will play an actress who claims to have been sexually assaulted by a reality show producer. Michael McKean ("Laverne & Shirley", "Smallville") will play the alleged sleazebag in question. Lambert, 28, won a Grammy in 2011 and has received numerous other awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. She first rose to fame on USA's "Nashville Star", a reality singing competition on which she placed third. Her most recent album, 'Four the Record', was released in November 2011.
