"Chelsea Lately": Laura Prepon On Playing Chelsea Handler On 'Are You There, Chelsea?' (VIDEO)

It was a rather unique situation on "Chelsea Lately", with Chelsea Handler sitting across from and interviewing the woman who's playing Chelsea Handler on the new series "Are You There, Chelsea?"

Based on Handler's best-selling books, Laura Prepon plays the younger Handler, while Handler is in the show playing her older sister.

"When we first stated meeting people about playing you they were like 'Oh you can definitely play Chelsea Handler because you both have a lot of similarities."

Chelsea Handler went on to say that, "People are gonna watch this and think that I'm this real drunken slut, because I know that every week you're gonna be making out with a different person.

I wouldn't be able to do that since I've done it so much in real life that I can not do it on camera, so it's so great that you can do this for me."

Prepon responded that she's "glad to take the pressure" off of Chelsea.

I love Chelsea Lately (saw the most recent episode last night with Laura Prepon) and can't wait for the new sitcom. I really hope its able to do well against some tough competition.
