Crazy Just When You Thought TV Land and N@N Couldn't Get Any Worse... They Do!

Last night I had trouble sleeping so I turned on TV Land and they were showing the Nanny and I watched it for about a minute and switched to N@N and the Nanny was on there too. So I watch it for a few minutes and noticed that it's the SAME exact episode that is airing on TV Land. It's bad enough they are airing a newer show like the Nanny, but the same episode of the same show at the exact same time! Who's in charge of the programming on these channels and who did they blackmail? It amazes me that TV Land and N@N are still around, especially N@N. No variety with robots in charge.

Both stations are owned by the same crooks,I mean company, Viacom.Anyhow with channels lke Me TV and Antenna TV getting most of the viewers now,TVLand and Nick(or whatever they call themselves now) may as well put up the 'For Sale' sign.

I can understand them airing the same show at the same time, but not the same episode. TV Land started airing Murder She Wrote so that was a bit of a surprise. What won't be surprising is when they take it off the air in less than a month.

Nick should just air cartoons 24/7. They'd probably get better ratings for the cartoons they'd air at night than the overplayed sitcoms they air now.

The bad thing is tha MeTv and Antenna TV are not available to everyone like TV Land and Nick are.

One simple solution, if you have N@N2 you can turn to that channel which would have different programming. That's what i do everynight and watch Friends on N@N2 before I go to sleep.

Just saw what you meant, the Nanny is on N@N and TV land at 3am

TV Land & Nick get worse all the time. I also was surprised to see "Murder She Wrote" added to TV Land, but for how long? In the mean time, they still have a 4hr block of Bonanza.

It's been years since those networks were really good. I very seldom even watch TV Land anymore, don't even bother with Nick.
I wish someone would create a network to air the classic's and offer it on Dish and Direct TV. We can't even get one channel with an antenna and there is no cable here.

I'm sure Nick programming would get better ratings. Honestly, I don't understand why they haven't done this yet; especially when you consider that Disney already does it and is currently beating Nick in the ratings.

That's another problem with TV Land. Who wants to watch 4 straight hours of the same show, every weekday? They should get rid of at least 2 hours of Bonanza and add some different shows, but they won't.

If TVLand was part of a package deal like certain sports channels I would get rid of it

The only show that they air that I like comes on at 4am in the morning

Right before I go to bed, I either watch Frasier on Hallmark or switch over to the Hub for Family Ties, Happy Days & Laverne and Shirley. I'm usually asleep after that, but Doogie Howser & Batman are on later.
