One of my favorite Hazel episodes, is when Hazel got a job in a department store for the Christmas season. Anyone know the story behind this one? Was this filmed in an actual store? It looks very realistic!

I don't know the story behind it, but I also like this episode a lot.

Actually, I watched the episode again. I noticed the entrance doors had no windows on them, so I guess it could have been a very elaborate sound-stage set. It sure seemed like a real, old downtown store from that era though!

If it isn't an actual store, then the set decorator did an excellent job. I like this episode, too, especially how an unsuspecting Hazel keeps holding the door open for the crook while he is carrying things out of the store.
