This information was recently discovered by another poster, but since it's buried in another thread somewhere, I thought this subject should probably get its own thread so that everyone can know. It looks like Ida Prewitt, one of the more infamous interviewees in UM history, passed away on September 2, 2011 at the age of 82. It seems her death slipped under the radar for a few months and I can't find any details about how seh died, but since this lists her as a resident of Bristow, Oklahoma, I'm pretty sure this is the same person.
http://www.tributes.com/show/Ida-Jane-Prewitt-92558734 Ida Prewitt, of course, is the mother of Beverly Noe and grandmother of Chad Noe, who are believed to be responsible for the disappearances and likely murders of Wendy Camp, Lisa Renee Kregear and Cynthia Britto. While it's never been officially proven that Ida was involved in the disappearances, it's a given that she knew what happened and she didn't exactly endear herself to anyone in her UM interview when went on about Wendy's "griping and bitching". Since Beverly and Ida both spent time in prison a few years ago for arson, they obviously were not saints. Anyway, there's always a bit of sadness and anger when a person who is believed to be responsible for someone else's disappearance leaves this world without revealing what happened. However, in this case, there were definitely other people involved in the crime, so at least Ida's death doesn't eliminate the possibility of the victims' families gettin closure someday. |

So she was only 82 when she died? Not to speak ill of the dead, but she looked 82 when she was interviewed on UM.
Maybe her guilt made her look older. Maybe her surviving relatives will reveal what really happened. |

Is it a coincidence that I'm listening to Bob Seger's "Fire Lake" as I read this thread?

http://docapp065p.doc.state.ok.us/se...0&imageindex=2 Here's Beverly Noe's mug shot, in case you're wondering what she looks like. She looks about as miserable as you'd envision her to be. http://docapp065p.doc.state.ok.us/se...1&imageindex=1 |
