fat? I don't believe any of the girls were ever fat, unless you consider a pregnant Phoebe or Cox's fat suit. Aniston was never fat on the show unless your definition of a fat woman is anywhere over 105 lbs, in which case, maybe you should reconsider your definition.

Well, I remember a few days ago, or last week, Phoebe was fat. I'm serious, it was on the Superstation.

Sorry, my Topic says Rachel, but I meant Phoebe. The black-haired one, anyway. Also, now she's skinny again, what happened to the baby if she was pregnant?

Hi Cles, the girl with the dark hair is Monica. When Monica was younger, she was very heavy. They've had a few episodes where they show Monica, Rachel and Ross when they were younger. That's why you see a heavier Monica. Phoebe (the blonde girl) was a surrogate mother for her brother and his wife.

Well, if you meant "younger" as in little kids, that's not what I saw. I saw Chandler walk in to the apartment, and he was watching Monica do excercises(sp?), and it looked like she was the same age. Again I say, it was earlier this week, or end of last week on TBS Superstation.

Hi, i didn't mean when they were little kids, this was when she was in high school, maybe after high school too. I remember another episode where I believe they're imagining what their lives would've been like if certain things were different. Monica was still heavy and Chandler still fell in love with her, proving that he loved her for her, not what she looked like.

Cool Monica was the fat one!

The only character that was fat was Monica. Whenever they do a flashback to highschool they show Monica as being fat. Courtney Cox actually has to put on a fat suit for these flashback. But of course Courtney Cox was never fat in real life, in fact she used to be a model, and was a featured dancer in Bruce Springsteen's Dancining in the Dark video. That is how she got discovered as an actress. She then placed Alex's girlfriend on Family Ties, and made a guest appearance on Seinfeld prior to landing the role of Monica during Friends.

Hmm... That's weird then. I mean, they were in the same apartment, and at the end of the show, Monica was lik, watching an exercise tape. So, Monica Rachel and Phoebe lived in the same apartment when they were in High School?

ClesStahn, I think the episode you saw was The One that Could Have Been, about how all of their lives could have turned out differently. For example, what if Monica never lost weight and was still fat? In this 'alternate reality', Monica is fat and living in the same apartment, Rachel married Barry, Phoebe is a high-strung businesswoman…etc.

It's a running joke on the show that Monica used to be fat in high school. I think all the other 'fat Monica' episodes are flashbacks that take place at the Geller house, before Monica lost weight. None of the girls lived in the apartment in high school. Hope this clears it up for you.
