It's Generally Not A Good Idea To Cold Call Old Crushes. :/

I was at Burger King one day, and I saw my high school crush, Noel with his friends. Noel and I chatted, and Noel told me he had a crush on me in high school. I asked for his number, but he told me that his phone was disconnected, but he agreed to take mine. I gave him my number on a BK receipt. LOL. He didn't call me, but I assumed he may have accidentally thrown away the receipt in the garbage.

A while later, I ran into Mark, one of Noel's friends, who told me that Noel still liked me. Mark gave me Noel's number, and when I called it, a guy answered the phone, telling me I had the wrong number, and gave me Noel's right number. I called the new number, and it was the same story all over again. Wrong number, gave me another number. I called that number too, and an it was the same thing again. I got another number, and old guy picked up the phone. He had never heard of Noel. I called one of the older numbers back, and they gave me another number for noel. I called that number.

A man answered the phone. I asked if this was Noel. He said no. I asked if it was Mark or Christian, Noel's friends. He answered, "No. In fact, you already called my number asking for Noel. Who rerouted my number back to you? I know it's gotta be either Mark or Christian(I really shouldn't have mentioned any names.) "I'm gonna f up whoever rerouted my number back to you."

I hung up the phone. He continued to call my number asking what number rerouted his number back to me. I turned off the phone. He left me 16 voicemails and said his name was Shawn and said that I was being played like an idiot. He said, "Don't you think something is wrong when you keep getting different numbers for the same guy and still don't get it? You're sad as f. Noel is muscular and fit now, he doesn't want a fat girl like you anymore."

Shawn continued to call me number again, and I kept ignoring him. He finally gave up and stopped blowing up my phone. This is why it's not a good idea to cold call old crushes.

if you call someone and leave a message more than once and they don't get back to you, then let it go - no matter who they are.

Seriously, how far out of high school are you? These antics sound more like middle school to me. Noel's immature and obviously not into you. Move on, but don't think that this ridiculous scenario is standard behavior for grown ups.
