The All Female Rock Band called The Bangles consist of Sisters Vicki and Debbie Peterson, Susannah Hoffs and Bassist Michael Steele scored their 1st of 2 #1 Singles on the Pop Chart with their cult favorite

Walk Like an Egyptian

The song was #1 on the Pop Chart here in America for 4 consecutive weeks and it was also #1 on Australia, The Netherlands and Germany and it was also their 2nd Top Hit and their 3rd Top 40 American Top 40 Pop Hit from their Triple Platinum Album and their only Top 5 Pop Album entitled Different Light

and now, 25 years later, Vicki, Debbie and Susannah are still rockin' and still touring

and now, here it is:

My number 3 most hated song of the 80's, the only ones I despise more are "Walking On Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves and "Don't Worry, Be Happy" by Bobby McFerrin.

Well I like this song and I would rather do the Egyptian ANYDAY

But @ least its better than all of the crappy songs that we got out today
