As you can tell by my avatar, I want Jodi's case to be solved as well. I read in many places that he was a suspect in her disappearance and possible murder. Question is, what evidence do they have against him?

They don't.
There was another post on that site quoting the police in Mason City who said the weatherman was never interviewed and is not even a person of interest in the story. I too wish they could solve Jodi's case, even after all these years. |

I love the journal angle. If Jodi was stalked or harassed, her journal could yield vital clues. The only problem is, after all these years there seems to have been little help from the journal. And if the case was an abduction by an obsessed fan/stranger, then the journal would not really help, unfortunately. I wish they would have given more details on the UM segment, but understand that the case was less than a year old then and they probably feared and still perhaps fear compromising the investigation.
