Default Thanks!

WOW!!! I'm absolutely thrilled!! The only bummer is that at the 8:00 am time frame, I'll have to decide which of 2 shows to tape.

Donna
It may not even last that long on the network since it has such a stupid slot.

You know, I am not a big Bob Newhart fan(the series), but I am just glad that Hallmark is still putting on these classic shows, and not going the way of, oh... say, TvLand, who changed their format and now put on some of the trashiest garbage ever to stink up the airwaves.

I think Hallmark Channel deserves a round of applause. And a note of thanks to them wouldn't hurt.

While I tend to agree with the "lousy slot" comment, I do agree that Hallmark's move towards the classics is wonderful.

If you are in the Pacific Time Zone, the Hallmark Channel's OnLine schedule tells you that the show's 4 episodes start at 8:00 am. However, if you have DirecTV, you'll find that the show starts at 5:00 am. (Worse time slot.) Pretty well, they are starting with Episode #1 and progressing in numerical order, rather than a hodge-podge (as many other stations might do).

What remains to be seen is how, if any, they might cut them up. Hallmark did "just okay" with I Dream of Jeannie about 8 or 10 years ago, so we'll see how they do with this show.

That's exactly right! Dvr's can help a viewer with the crummy time slot, but nobody can do a thing about the editing and how good or bad it may be. I do hold out hope however.

No I will record program my DVD recorder. Luckily TV One is not showing season 9 or 10 of the Jeffersons right now because I wouldn't be able to record it at all.

It's nice that Hallmark Channel will do this,Maybe if "The Bob Newhart Show"is a ratings hit(and I agree about the time slot-In my opinion,it would be better in the mid-afternoon or in the early evening hours),maybe they will add more classic TV from the 1960's and 1970's.Anyway,it's great to see the show back.

The only bad thing is a lot of people won't see it because of the early timeslot. So the show would get an opportunity to gain a new fanbase.
