How can deserving families getting new homes be awful though? It's been on for 9 years and 200 episodes for a reason.

There's no doubt that the show did so much good and helped so many families over the years (they've even came to my area a few years ago)....however it's still beyond time for it to go.

It won its timeslot on Sundays up until prior to last season, so many did know. It was moved to Fridays this season. It'll still air in specials next season.

Isn't Ty Pennington joining the show that's replacing 'One Life To Live', called 'The Revolution'? I thought I read that somewhere online.

That's one of the main reasons why it will only be back for specials next season.

It aired for 8 seasons in that Sundays at 8pm timeslot, so it never moved anywhere until this season for 13 episodes on Fridays. 8 million people watched last season on Sunday, so majority knew where it was.

Wow, that's surprising to hear! I could never get into it but I had no idea it had run for nine seasons.

Didn't quite a few of those families have to move because they could no longer afford the property taxes on a bigger house? LOL

The show was too sugary and sappy and personally I am glad it is canceled.

That was only 1 or 2 families out of over 200... If you weren't watching it, why are you glad if it was canceled? Don't understand why if a show does good in the world it needs to be canceled. I've never watched it much either, but I didn't wish it was canceled.
