Ok, now I was thinking about this. Remember when TBS, USA Network etc. used to show a variety of programming? TBS used to show comedies, westerns, pro wrestling, NBA Basketball, College Football etc. USA Network used to show wrestling, game shows, comedies, horror, movies, boxing, MLB etc. It seems like there are 3 types of cable networks:
1) What TBS, USA Network etc. used to be as what I mentioned above. You never have any stations like that anymore. 2) Any channel now shows no variety yet shows the same shows over and over again. Look at USA Network. All they show is NCIS, CSI, Pysch etc. TNT is the same way. Hell, look at Bravo. They show The Real Housewives, Millionaire Matchmaker and thats really it. The channels show no variety anymore. 3) Any channel that does show different things isnt good. Hallmark Channel is a perfect example. They show movies, cooking shows, comedies and yet its bad because they chop episodes up, crunch end credits and move the schedule around. So basically those are your 3 types of cable networks. Sadly, the old days of TBS or USA Network seem to be over. |

Your right, USA Network is a great channel. What Im trying to say is that if you remember when USA Network, TBS etc. used to show a variety of programming? I think USA and TBS are both great channels.
