Oh No This Is Why NBC Is In Last Place! 'Up All Night' Should Be Shown After The Super Bowl

No wonder NBC sucks and is in last place. Instead of showing shows like Up All Night, The Office, Community Or another scripted show after the Super Bowl in February, they choose a Karaoke show 'The Voice' instead. What a stupid move by NBC!

But they are Thursday Night shows and I personally wouldn't be watching the Office after the SB when you have the SB postgame lol

I understand that they are Thursday shows, but you have millions upon millions of new viewers that you can attract to a scripted show. Besides, you could also advertise it as being a show that is on regularly on Thursdays. The old regime at NBC put on an hour long episode of Friends after a Super Bowl a few years ago and it paid off big time. Friends was always a Thursday show as well.

But it would have to be connected to the SB in some way and since people wouldn't be watching the SB at work, the Office wouldn't be a good show to air after the SB. Now Up All Night can be a show they can air after the SB since it's not a workplace comedy

Up All Night would be a good one because it's one of the few new NBC series that has potential and it needs viewers. The Voice already has viewers. It doesn't need the exposure.

Point taken, I was just using an example of a show that could be used. Any way you slice it, it should be a show that is scripted, not some stupid reality show garbage.

Exactly Sonny, well said, do you think people want to sit and watch a karaoke show or maybe want a good laugh?

I agree, I wish they would've put one of the comedies on after the Super Bowl.

But their entire spring line-up is basically based off of the assumption that The Voice will be a huge hit and will turn Smash into a huge hit, so...

The Office was the Super Bowl lead out show a few years ago though...and it did fine. Hell, Glee was the super bowl lead out show last year and that attracts the exact opposite of football viewers but it did very well.

I'm a fan of the office but would never watch it directly after the SB. Most people watch the post game show and celebrations

I don't think anyone is in "Sitcom Mode" after the biggest sporting event of the year.
