Robin Of Sherwood
This still remains my favorite version of Robin Hood(film or television), I remember watching this back in the 80's I think on Showtime...according to everything I've read it was retitled Robin Hood here in the States, I've always know it has Robin Of Sherwood...
I also thought they handled it well when Michael Praed(Robin) left the show, and Jason Connery stepped in as Robert, his successor. A very young Ray Winstone plays Will Scarlett. All the actors who plays the "Merry Men" are excellent in their parts. And Nicholas Grace is great as the Sheriff of Nottingham. Now have the series on DVD, and it's still the best. Any other fans? |
