'30 Rock' Star Alec Baldwin Kicked Off American Airlines Flight - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

When the flight attendant says put those electronic devices in the off position, they're not fooling around.

Just ask Alec Baldwin, whose dismissal from an American Airlines flight for apparently playing a mobile game was documented in real time on Twitter.

"Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving," the 30 Rock actor, 53, Tweeted on Tuesday.

Another passenger, Michael J. Wolf, the founder of the technology firm Activate, Tweeted: "On an AA flight at LAX. Alec Baldwin removed from the plane. We had to go back to the gate. Terrible that everyone had to wait."

Baldwin then Tweeted a few hours later that his next flight had "smarter"-looking flight attendants.

His rep explains: "Alec was asked to leave the flight for playing Words with Friends while parked the gate. He loves WWF so much that he was willing to leave a plane for it, but he has already boarded another AA flight."

He became the latest celebrity to deplane early, joining Josh Duhamel, Kevin Smith and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.
