Cool WWE Network

I know that the WWE network is going to debut around Wrestlemania time in March or April 2012. But does anyone know what cable companies are going to have it? I hope it's on regular cable and not a pay channel. As much footage that they have, this could be a very good channel. I can't wait to see the old episodes of Raw from 96 and 97 when DX were running the show!

Barf. I can't stand wrestling, it's obnoxious, disgusting, and repulsive.

They also are in talks with Comcast. I would think they would need to get on Comcast since Comcast is the biggest cable provider in the world. This is a must but when the Network starts, they must, must have the original music for the shows. None of this redubbed stuff.

I too have Classics on Demand and enjoy it. I just hope that it isn't going away completely. I also hope that the Monday Night War doesn't dominate their programming on the classic side. Now, don't get me wrong, I became a fan during that era, but there's plenty of great wrestling action that happened before that. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what this new network will bring. Personally, I feel that it'll probably wind up on a sports tier, especially if they are planning on showing PPV events, but it's possible that it could be on one of the lower, basic digital cable tiers.

I think its going to be on the sports tier with NBA TV, NFL Network etc. Also, Ive heard that they will show there "B" PPVs on WWE Network. I dont think it they will show Wrestlemania or the Royal Rumble. I think they will show Extreme Rules, Night of Champions etc.

I agree...

There should be a WWE Network...it may take awhile since they'll have to put the WWE Logo on everything that used to have WWF, since there's World Wildlife Fund that had the name first.

So I guess its official. I did read that they were cancelling Classics on Demand on AT&T U-Verse only but I guess that means everybody.

I haven't received anything from Comcast yet, but it does seem official. I can understand why they're doing it, in order to focus on the new network, but I liked the On Demand service. It'll be sad to see it go. Hopefully, the new network will have a right blend between current programming and the classics.

I only have Cox, but...

I hope that On Demand would launch a WWE Network sometime soon.

I seen that on the wrestling observer about it being canceled and just read an update on the site now it says it SUPPOSE to be arounf til march 31 and be canceled then, Then the wwe netowrk starts on april 1. I hope fios gets this or i will riot.

I also hope they show more 70s early 80s stuff and more frequent then wwe on demand does. I know they are going to do the Monday Night wars AGAIN!! i hope everything else that runs on on demand if they start showing them on the netowrk they dont restart them over. Once wwe network starts i will be going thru blank dvds left and right.. and my wife thinks 3000 vhs tapes and almost 3000 dvds is a lot now lol.....but PLEASE wwe newtork more 70s wwf at msg shows and wwf all star wrestling and championship shows from the earliest you have from the 70s and show them in order, i would prefer them daily not weekly..all the awa shows, smokey mountain etc and all the stuff that hasnt been shown yet
