Madderest Channel 11 (Australia) does it again...

So I've finally seen the first 3 seasons of the Alley years (S6-8 for those not in the know), and what does Channel 11 do? Go back to Season 6! This means I'll have to wait even longer for the final 3 seasons now!

At least they didn't go back to Season 1 like they did last time...

Why bother Channel 9 kept destroying the show putting it on strange hours when it was on. Australian TV Channels are run by Monkeys, I remember watching a episode of a series. It might have been According To Jim they played part 2 of some episode then a different episode the week after, then part 1 some time later. They treat the people like Idiots but no one complains, only some idiot who gets offended on a Commercial or TV Series like Married With Children. I'm surprised you didn't get the Season Sets, they worth getting they cheap like $16 a Season. Cheers is one show from the 80s worth getting on DVD. I wish they play Coach the series complete.

Did Channel 9 do this for all of Cheers' run? Or only during specific years? I was only 2 when the final episode aired, so I have no memories of Cheers when it was first on.

And I might consider getting the season sets, although I heard S9-S11 are edited :S

Consider yourself lucky, the last 3 seasons were putrid The last season was actually the Fraser Show

Having finished watching Cheers a couple of months ago, I must say, I found it to be very good until the end, indeed Cheers is one the few shows that I've watch that didn't decline in its final few years.

I am now watching the second season of Frasier, not as good as Cheers , but still good in its own right.

I'm so glad I have the entire show on Netflix.

I just bought all of the season sets on Tuesday, great value at less than 50c an episode!
