"Boston Legal's" Larry Miller to Boss Around Amanda Peet
Dec 1, 2011 by Kate Stanhope "Bent" has tapped veteran comedy actor Larry Miller to play Amanda Peet's boss, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. The comedy, from "Scrubs" writer Tad Quill, centers on Alex (Peet), a high-strung single mother who hires a laid-back womanizing construction worker, Pete (David Walton), to remodel her home. Miller, 58, will appear in an upcoming episode as Bob, Alex's bold and, at times, offensive boss at her law firm. Bob isn't afraid to ruffle some feathers in business or social situations, and he does just that when he takes a liking to Alex's date, Pete, instead of her when they all attend a colleague's wedding.
