Anyone remember Dick Clark's OTHER game shows from the 1960's he did
both for ABC,and both were short-lived:1963-1964's "The Object Is..." and the ABC sort-of short-lived 1964 continuation of "Missing Links",which had been an NBC show, and had the late Ed Mac Mahon as host, until it was dropped by NBC and picked up by ABC.?Anyone remember either one of these shows?

I barely remember Missing Links. One of the first game shows I recall seeing.

Ed MacMahon hosted the show first on NBC, then when the show moved to ABC, Dick Clark took over. Two of the Dick Clark episodes exist, but none of the Ed MacMahon.

I've seen part of the 2nd-to-last episode of Missing Links on YouTube before. One thing that's notable about it is that NBC, which had been airing the show in color, cancelled it and replaced it in the same time slot with Art Fleming's version of Jeopardy!. ABC used Dick Clark instead of Ed MacMahon as host, switched the show to B&W, and aired it in the same timeslot that NBC had used (11:30 AM ET), so Jeopardy! ended up being both replacement and competition for Missing Links.
