Black Friday, 1966

Stores opened at 10:00 AM on Friday, and were closed on Sunday.


Black Friday, 1981

Stores opened at 7:00 AM on Friday, Some stores were open on Sunday


Black Friday, 1996

Stores opened at 5:00 AM on Sunday, most stores open on Sunday


Black Friday, 2011

Stores opened at Midnight, nearly all stores are open on Sundays.


And now a look ahead.....

Thanksgiving, 2026.

The Holiday has become a Massive Tailgate Party, with most Families having their Thanksgiving Dinners at the Mall or Big Box Store Parking Lots. Stores open at 6:00 PM Thursday. "Doorbusters" are introduced at six hour intervals, beginning at 6:00 PM on Thursday and continuing until 6:00 PM on Saturday. All Stores will close at Midnight, and will once again be closed all day Sunday, because......



EVERYBODY will be TOO POOPED to shop!!!
