I feel really sorry for Amy - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Last episode Sheldon finally made Amy his girlfriend. She was really happy about that, and I'm glad they're together BUT...when I began to really think about it, I kind of felt sad for her.

She really wants/needs human affection, but she will NEVER get that with Sheldon or any kind of intimicy. She probably would have been a lot better off with Stuart.

Before you guys tell me, yeah I know its only a sitcom!!

i kind of agree sheldon is not really a bad guy but he is so tightily wound that he will never be able ro be the type of boyfriend that amy really needs

I agree, Sheldon is not a bad guy but he is deffiently is not the 'relationship' type of guy and Amy deserves to be someone who will give her the affection that she needs.

is it possible that Amy might be able to actually change Sheldon, break through that rigid exterior and find an actual heart in there?

I don't know. A lot of people have tried to change Sheldon, including his mother and no one has been able to do it yet.
