I remember younger watching a show in syndication about a dad and his son. I think it took place on a beach or something. Please tell me if this is similar to my description of please tell me about the show.

It sounds like you have the right show, but it didn't take place on a beach. That was just in the opening theme credits. Go here for pictures and info from the show - even some video clips of the opening credits.

Thanks a lot. I think I just remember the beach from the opening credits. The only reason I think I remember this show is because we were watching it in reruns when my sister stuck a tissue up her nose.
