The 5th season has a number of sight gags, something the other seasons don't have as much of and many of those sight gags are pretty funny. My favorite one is in the episode (I think it's C. Errol Madre) where Max is in the Control Headquarters building, he presses the button for the elevator and when the door opens there is the Chief inside the elevator sitting behind his desk.
Ironhand has some good visual gags too like when the villian with the iron hand slams his hand on things and breaks them. Probably the worst season 5 episode is the two parter House Of Max. A couple others too maybe aren't that good. Overall though it's a good season, the move to CBS brought some refreshing changes to the show, but at the same time the series started having the feeling that it was getting tired and played out so I think they quit at the right time after 5 seasons. |

Continuing on from that elevator scene, it's also funny when the other Control agents start showing up and crowd in the elevator around the Chief's desk for their briefing. Then Max asks the Chief where Larabee is, then a ceiling tile in the elevator opens up and there is Larabee. LOL that is so funny.
Another good visual gag from the Ironhand episode is when they do that elaborate stunt with the baby buggys. I've always enjoyed that gag also, it's pretty clever and funny. |

You know what gives everyone a laugh in that season. The episode 99 tells Max she's pregnant and he gets that face job. His nose falls off from him sweating and he picks up a cracker with cream and puts it on his nose, LMAO! That whole thing was funny.
Max's piano skills were ROFLMAO!I liked season five. I like that Max had a family. |

The only season 5 episode I didn't like was "Is This Trip Necessary?" The real question is "'Is This Trip Necessary?' necessary?'" What I didn't like about it were the hallucination sequences. All the other episodes I was okay with.
