Katy Perry to Host "SNL"

She's been to studio 8H before, but when Katy Perry returns to "SNL" next month, she'll have a few more responsibilities.

The singer, 27, will host for the first time on Dec. 10, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

Perry previously appeared as the musical guest in Sept. 2010.

She made headlines during the episode when she appeared in a sketch wearing a cleavage-bearing Elmo T-shirt soon after a Sesame Street skit she appeared in was cut because of complaints about her low-cut top.

Perry's husband, Russell Brand, hosted the show back in February.

Ehh, I dunno. She's cute and I find her inoffensive. I'm not a huge fan of the music but she's energetic and seems to have a sense of humor about herself, unlike most modern pop stars. Bring her on!
