Default Demi Moore Divorcing Ashton Kutcher

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/11/17/demi-moore-divorcing-ashton-kutcher_n_1100165.html?1321565706&icid=maing-grid7|main5|dl2|sec1_lnk3|113760#s481871&title=The_Cinema_Society

Demi Moore Divorcing Ashton Kutcher: Actress Files For Divorce After Cheating Scandal

Demi Moore is filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, she told the Associated Press.

"As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life," she told the news service.

In September, it was alleged that Kutcher had cheated on Moore with Sara Leal while he was in Las Vegas. He denied the accusation. Moving vans were spotted at the couple's home in October, leading to speculation that the couple was splitting.

The pair were spotted at Bruce Willis's vacation home earlier in November, supposedly working on their marriage.

Kutcher and Moore were married in 2005; she was 43 years old, while he was 27 at the time.

UPDATE: Kutcher tweeted a statement, writing, "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."

With all the speculation going around the past couple of months, I'm not suprised. I figured something was up.

I always felt that they would start having problems when they got older. He's still a young guy. When I see pictures of them together, it looks like he's with his mother. A hot mother, but his mother. He has a youthful looking appearance while she looks elegant and cultured.

In any case, divorce is always sad. He was close to her daughters, even though he isn't much older than they are. Still, he was their stepfather, and by all accounts, they hung out and had fun. I'm sure they'll miss each other. I don't care how much money they have. Love is love, and feelings are feelings, and the end of a marriage that was very loving takes its toll on the heart.

This article quoted Moore as saying:

"...This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,"

NOW she wants privacy? These two threw this sham of a marriage in everyone's faces for six years, and now, after all the magazine covers, when it falls apart she wants everyone to leave her alone?

If they cherish their privacy so much, just sign whatever papers they're supposed to sign, and leave the press out of it. Don't hold a freaking press conference to announce that you're splitting up.

"... As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred... ".

Give me a break Demi....this was your third so-called marriage. What exactly are these vows that are so sacred to you?

Demi took her vows seriously. She didn't want this marriage to end. He cheated on her, as did Bruce Willis. There was no press conference. She just issued a statement. The press hounds a lot of couples. If anything, Demi seemed to fall off the radar when she got married. I believe her now when she says she wants privacy and that this is a tough time for her. She just spent 7+ years with him and was crazy over him. She's a person with feelings, her husband cheated, and she knows it's time to leave him. I believe she's in a world of hurt. I don't believe fame and/or money shields people from feeling sad.

WOW...

Kutchner is riding the same bandwagon that Sheen did!
