Shhh. Here's an exclusive first look at writer/producer Marc Cherry's super top secret "Golden Girls" reunion project, starring from left to right: Betty White (Rose), Estelle Getty (Sophia), Bea Arthur (Dorothy) and Rue McClanahan (Blanche).

No worries that three quarters of the cast passed away over the last few years, as no dialogue was written for this reunion.

Rather, the skeletal ladies were on display as part of a Halloween lawn display treat for fortunate trick or treaters who visited Marc's L.A. home two weeks back.

I first got wind of this 'reunion' via a tip from my co-worker Rob Moynihan. Then, Marc, who wrote for "Golden Girls" years before creating "Desperate Housewives", called to confirm he was indeed behind the devilish display.

Marc told me he had his designers seat the Girls around a table — gossiping over cheesecake. But judging from this photo, some pesky trick or treaters must have taken the cake and eaten it too.

Marc tells me he sends up pop culture TV and film casts on his lawn every Halloween, and with "Desperate Housewives" set to conclude in 2012, I imagine it's a safe bet we may be seeing these four skeletons re-costumed next October 31 to look like Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Felicity Huffman and Eva Longoria.

Perhaps with a fifth Nicollette Sheridan skeleton hanging from a tree. Seriously, how could he resist?
