The Beatles...more than likely since these would be on their early 1970's albums....
PS-Paul McCartney was the most involved with The Beatles by 1967...Harrison was occupied with Hinduism, Lennon was involved with Yoko Ono, and Ringo was just in it for the ride. |

Eric Burdon(The Animals) had some success with his later group War. I think that The Animals could have survived because of their Blues roots. The others besides The Beatles were good for their time but I don't think that they could have survived the 70's.As for The Beatles I think that there would have been too much competition between Paul, John and George as they each had their own ideas and style. I think that we have benefited from the breakup(I hate to say that!) as each had their own individual successes with their own awesome music!
