Paul Wesley and his wife, actress Torrey DeVitto, can start carpooling to work.

The actress, who has a recurring role on ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars", has been tapped to recur on the CW's "The Vampire Diaries", The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.



DeVitto, who married Wesley in April, will play Mary, an intelligent young doctor intrigued by Alaric's (Matt Davis) powers of recovery on the CW's vampire drama.

She'll appear in Episodes 310 and 311 with a strong likelihood to continue on afterward.
