Confused Were 'The Flintstones' Overrated?!?

Somebody said to me that they felt the Flintstones was very overrated and the jokes were too dated. Anybody else feel the show was overrated? Underrated? Perfect?

No...they were the predecessor of Prime-Time Animated TV.

Without "The Flinstones" There would be no "Simpsons", "South Park", or even "Family Guy"...ironically McFarlane is putting his twist on "The Flinstones"!

The first few seasons of the Flintstones are among the best seasons of any half hour show ever produced.
As for: "Without "The Flinstones" There would be no "Simpsons", "South Park", or even "Family Guy"...ironically McFarlane is putting his twist on "The Flinstones"!
I am not looking forward to that "twist."

I agree with Bonniegirl. I don't think the Flintstones are overrated, It's just perfect because it is one of the greatest TV shows ever made in the 20th Century.

Quick!!! Let's go back and destroy "The Flintstones" so those theee monstrous shows never happen.

It was worth it resurrecting this prehistoric post for that joke.
