Tomorrow at 2PM EST, FEMA will have an emergency test through out the entire country on all tv and radio stations, Nothing like this has ever been done. They just want to find out how much we would be prepared in case of actual emergency. It's supposed to last 3 minutes.

we had tornado sirens going off yesterday afternoon - not a cloud in the sky and no info about any testing on either the local news or the city's website

so I ducked anyways.

I get these chain e-mails, not sure how they got my name but that's how I found out about this. Most of these e-mails are political or religious and I just read the title but this one sounded interesting. I wonder if it has anything to do with them going digital ? To see how they can reach the population in a short time all at once. I am glad I won't be recording anything tomorrow off tv.

I don't care one way or another, since at 2 P.M. I'l be on the way home from p.t. and won't even be listening to T.V. or the radio!

They also ran a small article about it in our local newspaper, but I don't usually have the tv on at that time so it's not a problem.
