UM has had a lot of cases that seem to be genuinely frightening (even more so considering they actually happened!), such as unexplained deaths, mysterious disappearances, etc.
However, there were also a lot of segments that seemed pretty silly, but may also have scared the **** out of you. I, for one, am embarrassed to admit that the "Chupacabra" segment scared me REALLY bad. Those glowing eyes....oh my god, I am not watching that segment alone again!!

I can't watch the Allagash abductions. It's so silly but I just can't do it.

Mothman scares me when he runs up to the window even though he looks ridiculous!

The train tracks murders!!! I watched it for the first time when I was a kid at my grandma's, and right behind her house were train tracks!!! I was convinced the murderer was back there!

I've always gotten the creeps from the computerized voice disguising, like how they did with Donny Hanson....it sounds so freaky!

The Tallman's ghost (haunted bunkbed segment). Still scares me even though it's just a silly ol' bunkbed.

For me, it has to be the Joe Weldon Smith segment.
The first time I saw it I nearly wet my pants. When the home owner was going through the house in the dark and "Joe" jumped out with a hammer, that about did me in. The embarrassing part is that when I see it, it still makes me jump EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT IS COMING. I think the first time was so traumatic I just overreact. The owner being chased through a house by a madman with a hammer and having to jump through a glass door probably has something to do with it as well. Oh, well...

Mothman for sure, and the "look at it Omar" arsonist. I saw that originally broadcast and the images of the fire and the voice scared me to death. It's still a little creepy but the voice now sounds too much like Adam Sandler.
