If you could choose just one character to have over for dinner from the Mary Tyler Moore Show who would it be and why? Who would you make sure not to invite?

I would invite Sue Ann so she could cook the dinner, serve it, then do the dishes.

I agree, Sue Ann to cook it. And maybe Mary for the company.

I'd invite Rhoda because I think she'd be fun. I wouldn't invite Ted because he is too "high maintenance".

I'd invite Mary because she'd be the most fun guest and eat the least stuffing

Well, Lou would be drunk before the turkey was served, Ted would complain about everything and have to go to the bathroom every five minutes to check the mirror, and Sue Ann would brag herself silly about how wonderful the meal was (if she cooked it).
Murray would be a good guest, I think, polite and probably a great storyteller. Mary would be a lot of fun, too, and she'd probably help out in the kitchen. Likewise Rhoda and Georgette. Phyllis would pick a fight with Sue Ann and bore everyone to death with stories about herself. |
