Fred's New Roommate after Lamont - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have been trying to find the episodes where Fred got a New Roommate Karl, from Texas. He was a Heavy guy who Fred, belittled, and I found it to be some of the funniest episodes that I have ever seen. That was years ago and I am have been trying to find them for soo long. I can't find anything or anyone that remembers them. Could someone help me out here? Does anyone remember. I think it was when Lamont was in Prison, or something.

Hey Robert, you must be thinking of the show "Sanford," which ran a few years after Sanford & Son went off the air. Cal, was the heavy guy's name played by Dennis Buckley.

yes, you're right it was the series "SANFORD" not "SANFORD & SON", and I think Lamont had gotten married and moved out.
And "SANFORD" isn't on DVD.
