Heart The Love of N&D

I was trying to think of the episode where Daphne was talking to Roz about her love life with Niles. Where Roz can't believe Niles is such a great lover. Does anyone remember that episode?
Here's a few shots of N&D's first time in season 8 "Daphne Returns"

I like the first two pics - great shot of them with the view in the background.

At first that episode where they had that fight (the pictures you posted) shocked me because Niles was being so unreasonable, but I knew he couldn't stay mad at Daphne for too long. LOVED when he walked over to her and they were still 'arguing' about him being too short and her being too tall, and that scene where he puts his hand on her cheek just makes me melt...
Thanks for the pictures, by the way!

But Niles was being unreasonable to show Daphne that he loved her for herself and not the image he built up in his mind for 7 yrs.

I actually posted something about this in another thread. I can't believe that Roz would be surprised that Niles was a good lover. Just because a man acts and looks a certain way doesn't mean he isn't good in bed.

Here is the link to that thread: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/...d.php?t=286993

Great pictures by the way Pat!

^^^ That's what I think too. He felt trapped by the situation, so I hesitate to say he was being unreasonable. I really felt bad for him when he said something like 'why is everybody acting like I've done something wrong, when all I'm guilty of is loving Daphne?' Now I do think he wasn't acting very nice at her welcome home party, when she asked him to leave-- maybe that's the unreasonable part you were talking about, Schmoopie? But I can even see why he acted that way. He was hurt, and he hadn't seen her in so long, and now she's back only to say she and the therapist were blaming him for her weight problem. I was glad he apologized though, because an apology was definitely in order.

And isn't funny how those little gestures and expressions are what stick in our minds? That moment where he puts his hand on her cheek is so small and so brief but so powerful. Love that.

I wasn't even thinking season 11 with flashbacks. I had it set that Daphne wasn't pregnant at the time and got lost from there. Thanks again.

Heart Crock Tales

Love it!

Daphne and Niles and their frequent love making...

Roz's birthday -
Daphne: [her mind in the same place as Niles as he stares at her with that smile of his] Oh, you know, I-I think I left your present in my room. Niles, will you help me with it?
Niles: Oh, of course.

They almost run to the hallway.

Niles: We'll be back very quickie.
Daphne: Quickly!
Niles: Quickly.

They exit.

Martin: You don't think they're gonna...?
Frasier: Oh, I have no idea. Try not to think about it.

They stand around uncomfortably. Then behind them, the skyline
lights up as fireworks explode all over.

Roz: Wow, he really is good.

What a powerful and awesome episode. I have forgotten how important the second to last episode was.

"Crock Tales" is ok, but not my favorite because they messed up some of N/D's stuff, and those horrible wigs. But it's a great sum up of the series. And those pics from "Daphne Returns" had me melting!! I want to slap Niles in that episode for his attitude, but it all led to them making out, so it's all good.

That's kind of the way I feel about it too. It's okay, and I think the idea of it was great, but they just didn't quite pull it off as good as they could have. Some of the earlier seasons' writers were so much better. I love the little extra details though. I just wish it was better.
