Chrissy held down a job as a secretary. What I don't get is how did she hold down such a job when she was such an airhead? I mean there are things that a secretary does that requires allot of common sense which Chrissy didn't have.

Because most women are hired because of the way they look not what they know Actually no one gets hired because of what they know. It's how LIKABLE you are during the interview. But I do get what you mean, seems like Janet would have been a secretary before Chrissy

I dunno, she was a "secretary" not a "rocket scientist". Seriously, pre-computer age, her tasks would have been answering the phone, typing, running errands, and possibly dictation--an entry-level job.

And Chrissy just didn't have STREETS SMARTS but probably was good at her job. Example of that would be when she went to a event with her friend who was a call girl and didn't even realize it

Chrissy was actually the secretary to the Vice President of the firm, and was being courted to become the secretary to the old; perverted, President of the firm.
