I like that episode, in this episode someone said "Smoo" on TV and Baby Sinclair keeps repeating "Smoo".

Eventually, Baby gives-up the word so he can hear stories from Grandma Sinclair.

I thought that this was actually a very funny episode because what kid when the first heard a bad word didn't want to say it a bunch times because they thought that it was funny? I thought it taught a good lesson in the end, though it was subtle in a way that the grandma sort of "punished" the baby by taking away his privelge of hearing her stories which made him realize what he was doing was bad and stopped saying the word so he could hear her stories again.

HAHA yeah, that was a funny episode. What kind of a bad word is SMOO though? That being said it did teach a good lesson.

I always thought it was it was in reference to the word s***.

Now, remember that it was directed towards Sinclair's boss Mr. Richfield. Baby called him "a big, fat ,smooey smoo". Then throughout the episode, they parodied political corrrectness with new laws and things like "cows will no longer be able to say 'moo'. They'll be encouraged to speak in complete sentences".

LOL, that is funny. When you put in that way than perhaps the word meant something even more offensive such as b*****d. I don't know I suppose it's anyones guess what the word means.
