Cool A 24-Hour Nick at Nite: Would YOU Tune In?

Dear Keith Dobkins,

I have a proposal for Nickelodeon: effective September 10, 2012, it's my suggestion that Nickelodeon move its "90s Are All That" block from TeenNick to Nickelodeon weeknights from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., encoring immediately afterwards until 7 a.m., and weekends from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., encoring until 6 a.m. immediately afterwards.

Here's a suggestion for the new "'90s Are All That" schedule effective September 10, 2012.

Weeknight Schedule
9 p.m. Double Dare
9:30 p.m. All That
10 p.m. Kenan & Kel
10:30 p.m. Clarissa Explains It All
11 p.m. Hey Dude
11:30 p.m. Doug
12 a.m. Rugrats
12:30 a.m. You Can't Do That On Television
1 a.m. Are You Afraid of the Dark?
1:30 a.m. The Secret World of Alex Mack

But wait, you ask: HOW will this effect Nick at Nite? I'm glad you asked, because to make room for the NEW "'90s Are All That" schedule on Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite shall become a SEPARATE 24-hour cable network available exclusively on DirecTV Channel 306 FREE with subscription.

The NEW 24-hour Nick at Nite shall feature CLASSIC entertainment shows, to compete with METV Affiliates, from the last 60 years of television, with the current lineup moving to TV Land and Nick at Nite showcasing reruns of Classic shows from the 1950s to the 2000s, not just sitcoms, but dramas too.

I hope this is taken seriously, and thanks for reading in advance.

I like the idea of Nickelodeon airing classic Nick shows in the evenings, however I don't think it's necessary to have, essentially two TV Lands. I think Nick at Nite and TV Land could easily merge intro one network, airing 1950's, 60's, and 70's, shows during the day and more modern shows in the evening.

Nice fantasy. If only The 90's Are All That had sustained the first week ratings, now it's average numbers aren't even good enough to carry TeenNick at 10pm.
