Desperate Housewives' Doug Savant to Guest on 'Hot in Cleveland'
Doug Savant is ditching Wisteria Lane for Cleveland.
The Desperate Housewives hubby has signed on to guest star in an episode of TV Land’s Hot in Cleveland, sources confirm to TVLine exclusively. Savant will play a senator who’s caught in an uncompromising situation — a role that I hear may or may not have been inspired by [Anthony] Weinergate. His episode will air during the comedy’s upcoming, super-sized third season. This marks Savant’s first sitcom role in nearly a decade, when he appeared in an episode of According to Jim.
