Too many shows, not enough time - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I think I am taping off tv more than I ever did now that we have all these channels airing these old tv series. No matter what time of day or night, there is always something on that I want. Sometimes there is something on 2 channels at the same time and I have to sacrifice one for the other. I have stacks of dvds that I got in trades that I never watched because I am too busy taping. I probably never will find the time to watch them. Is anyone recording any of those movies that air on THIStv,Antennatv or Svengoolie ?
I noticed after I take out the commercials, the running time is pretty much what it is supposed to be,they just make the movie longer by adding to it rather than chopping it up to insert the commercials. I much prefer it that way,at least I have the complete movie intact. There are a lot of classic horror movies coming up.

I agree TiredMike. I tape stuff too because DVDs are too expensive and they dub over music and what not. And some of the stuff that I tape are hard to find or they are never on TV or DVD.

Same here, I've got stuff taped from 5 or 6 years ago that I have yet to watch & I still keep recording.
