Are there any plans for the release of Here's Lucy?

It's been a long time since season 4 was out. I'm glad they're almost done releasing The Lucy Show DVDs.

M.P.I. is commited to releasing the whole series. Season 5 was supposed to be coming in Nov-Dec. They must be holding off so as to not coincide with the release of The Lucy Show Season 5.

The final Lucy Special seems to be delayed also. I believe we'll see the final releases of all TLS, HL and the Lucy Specials in 2012.

Here's Lucy season five will be released on February 28, 2012. Amazon.com is already accepting pre-orders. We should have "The Lucy Show" season six by June 2012 and "Here's Lucy" season six by July 2012 along with the horrible "Lucy Moves To NBC."

Nope. Apparently she was dealing with cancer during those last two seasons and it kept her from working. In fact, had the Lucie Arnaz pilot from S4 sold, which would have taken Lucie off of Here's Lucy, there was talk of Vivian joining the cast of HL as a regular. (Wouldn't that have been wonderful?) But the pilot did not sell, so Lucie was back on HL full time, and Vivian was sick, so that never materialized. But she was apparently well enough again by the 1975-'76 season to make a guest appearance on Rhoda, then do the telefilm The Great Houdinis during the following season, and a Lucille Ball special and a pilot (Sam) during the '77-'78 season. Then the cancer returned, and you know the rest.
