Default When watching Tv DVD's

Hey, I was just wondering. When watching TV Shows on DVD do you have your own schedule of when you watch the episodes or do you go by the Schedule on TV with the same show? For instence I've been going along with the schedule on the Halmark channel for I Love Lucy. But, Halmark seems to skip episodes so I might have to just do my own schedule. Please let me know your ideas. Thanks.

Why would you bother following someone else's schedule when you have the DVD's? Watch what you want when you want to, that's the point of owning the shows for yourself. I most cases, the discs should have the shows in either production order or air order.

156? You could start your own TV station!

It could come in handy. ST TNG is out of syndication now, but let's say that KTLA is running an episode at 3 AM, but you miss a bit of it, because you spend to much time on this forum, you could pop in the DVD, and catch up with KTLA until the next commercial break, then switch to KTLA for the remainder of the episode. I used to do that when Youtube had episodes of TNG.

Why not just watch them on DVD if you have it? Then you don't have to worry about cuts or commercials.

I just watch mine when I want to. If I think of an episode out of the blue I might watch that one or I'll just start watching a particular season's episodes.
